Confirmed: UAE's First Casino Lands at Wynn Al Marjan
According to Michael Weaver, Chief Communications Officer at Wynn Resorts, the introduction of a gaming facility is set to coincide with the grand opening of the resort.
“The gaming experiences will open when the resort opens.”
Weaver stated in an exclusive interview with Arabian Business during the Arabian Travel Market event at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Weaver highlighted the unique aspects of Ras Al Khaimah as an ideal location for such a sophisticated development.
“What makes Ras Al Khaimah such an appealing destination is their focus on tourism overall. The variety of attractions, from beautiful beaches to mountain and wildlife experiences, offers more than just a gaming experience; it provides a holistic travel adventure.”
The resort, poised to be the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region, is a collaborative effort between Wynn Resorts, Marjan, and RAK Hospitality Holding. It promises luxury with 1,542 rooms and suites, 22 villa estates adjacent to a newly designed marina, extensive dining options, a vast shopping esplanade, and a state-of-the-art spa and salon.
The inclusion of a casino area in the Wynn Al Marjan Island resort represents a pivotal moment for both Wynn Resorts and the UAE’s tourism.
As Wynn Al Marjan prepares to open its doors in 2027, it promises to deliver a world-class gaming experience that complements its luxurious accommodations and diverse attractions, potentially transforming Ras Al Khaimah into a premier destination for international travelers seeking both luxury and adventure.
